| Jason Danieley & The Frontier Heroes JD & TFH is an eclectic, back-porch Americana band based in New York City. Led by vocalist Jason Danieley & musical director Dan Lipton, TFH take a look at music styles that are uniquely American and imbue them with a genuine back-porch sound. They are an acoustic band of piano, bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, tenor guitar, fiddle, and percussion, with a smattering of rich vocal harmonies. The sound is an homage to the family bands of yesterday that entertained themselves in the days before radio.The band was formed as a way to bring a contemporary vitality to music that has been around awhile and to bring an earthier quality to some newer songwriters.
